If there is something that Reckless Brewing Co is proud to stand on, it’s equal opportunity. And in 2025 - we are again putting our best foot forward this International Women’s Day.

March 8th is a day to celebrate the incredible achievements of Women across all industries and walks of life, while also recognising the work that is yet to be done within these spaces.

Our IWD XPA can - straight off the canning line

This year we’re raising our glasses - and funds - for a cause that matters.

We have teamed up with our mates at Onpack, Voyager Malt and HPA to create a limited edition XPA can for this year’s International Women’s Day, aptly named IWD XPA. Proceeds of our IWD XPA release will go directly to the Central West Women’s Health Centre, an organisation dedicated to supporting Women in need.

Voyager Craft Malt and HPA were kind enough to donate ingredients for this beer - free of charge, while Onpack absorbed a substantial amount of the cost of the manufacturing of the cans. Without the generous support from each of these incredible businesses, we would not have been able to bring this IWD XPA to life and increase the amount we will be able to donate to the Central West Women’s Health Centre.

By supporting charities such as the Central West Women’s Health Centre, we are all able to contribute to a future where every Woman has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and empowering environment.

Grace, Anne-Marie & Cerise - Just some of the many faces behind the scenes of Australia's largest majority women owned Brewery
Grace, Anne-Marie & Cerise - Just some of the many faces behind the scenes of Australia's largest majority women owned Brewery

We hold this sentiment close - being the largest majority Women owned brewery in Australia, with women making up 50% of our brew team and more than 50% of our management being women or gender diverse individuals.

This isn’t something that was decided on purpose, but a testament to the hard work we have done, and continue to do to make our spaces inclusive and safe - on both sides of the bar. We also continue to be one of only a few breweries that offer parental leave compensation - so even though we celebrate International Women’s Day just once a year, we will continue to use this opportunity to shed light and give back to those who need it the most.

You can help support Central West Women’s Health Clinic by purchasing our IWD XPA from the taproom, our online store a range of select wholesale stockists and learn more about their role within the community here: https://www.cwwhc.org.au/

We would like to thank Onpack, Voyager and HPA for their continued support and generosity, and you can read more about these incredible businesses here.
